How engagements work

Every engagement is month-to-month, if it isn't working, you walk. Most clients start narrow, prove value, and expand as trust builds. There are three common shapes:

  • Diagnostic (2 weeks, fixed fee), a deep audit of marketing, measurement, and reporting, ending in a written diagnosis and a prioritized punch-list. Yours to keep even if we don't continue.
  • Fractional growth lead (monthly retainer), embedded ownership of the growth number across strategy, execution, and reporting. The most common engagement.
  • Advisory (light, bi-weekly), a senior pair of eyes for your in-house growth or marketing leader, without me running the day-to-day.

Pricing depends on scope; you get a clear number on the intro call. I work on flat, scope-based fees, never a percentage of ad spend, because that model rewards bigger budgets instead of better outcomes.
